Margaret Bushnell of Carigiet Cowen has successfully negotiated the sale of the Queen's Hotel in Keswick to Lake District Hotels Ltd. The Queen's Hotel was built in 1825 and occupies an unrivalled central location in the popular Lake District town of Keswick. For more than 30 years, the 35 bed hotel was owned and run very successfully by Peter and Catherine Williams, and subsequently by their daughter Rebecca and son-in-law Paul following Peter's death in 2013. The acquisition of the Queen's Hotel takes the family run company's total to 7 within the Lake District and the third within Keswick town centre.
