Following the announcement that the Ministry of Defence will be releasing 120 hectares of its Longtown site for a civilian commercial development, Carigiet Cowen and Lambert Smith Hampton have been appointed to market opportunities at Solway 45.

The agents will be focussing on promoting Solway 45’s direct rail connection with the West Coast Main Line, it’s proximity to the M6 and it’s excellent links to the UK’s Port network. As well as establishing the site as a logistics hub, other uses such as Green Energy projects, duty suspended storage and light manufacturing are also being considered.
